The process

Six steps, in order. Most of them happen before the sprayer comes out.

Power wash
Every surface we paint gets pressure washed so the new paint grips and the dirt and pollutants come off. We also clean the concrete walks, drives and patios around the home.

Protect your property
Shrubs and landscaping stay covered from start to finish with drop cloths and poly plastic. Plants go under drop cloths, so they can still breathe and don’t overheat. Light fixtures and stones get masked.

Caulking
Loose caulking comes out. Gaps and cracks get filled with 25-30 year caulk to keep water and moisture out of your home. Loose nails are reset and filled.

Stucco repairs
Minor stucco patching and crack repair is part of the job. We fix any crack less than 1/4 of an inch.

Scraping and priming
Any loose paint the pressure washer missed is scraped off by hand. Raw wood gets a wood primer, and stucco is primed where it needs it.

Application
100% acrylic paint is sprayed on and rolled into the pores of the stucco. Fascia boards get two coats, cut in with a brush and roller. The outside edge of the trim is done by hand or roller so there’s no overspray on your roof tile.

Dunn Edwards and Frazee are the paints most often used by painting contractors in Arizona because of their quality. We use Dunn Edwards, Sherwin Williams and Frazee. Tap a grade to see the lines in it.
